NOTICE: Flood Physical Damage Disaster Loans and Economic Injury Disaster Loans

Washington county, among others, has received the approved SBA Agency Declaration for Pennsylvania (PA20278). All counties included in the declaration (primary and contiguous counties) are eligible to apply for Physical Damaged disaster loans. (homes and businesses) and Economic Injury disaster loans (Businesses)

Low Interest loans for residents and businesses through US Small Business Administration SBA Loan Program has been approved for homeowners, renters, private nonprofits and businesses located in a disaster declared county.

SBA offers long term repayment options to keep payment affordable with terms up to 30 years based on ability to repay. Loan terms are determined on a case-by-case basis.

Applicants can apply up to $500,000 for homeowner’s primary residents.

Applicants can apply up to $100,000 for homeowner’s and renter’s personal property.

Applicants can apply up to $2 million for businesses and most nonprofit organizations to cover losses not covered by insurance.

Applicants can get information and loan applications by calling the SBA’s Customer Service Center at 1-800-659-2955 (1-800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing), or by emailing DisasterCustomerService@sba.gov and referencing Pennsylvania Disaster Number PA-20003.

Alternatively, applications can be downloaded at sba.gov/disaster/.

The SBA will open a Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) in Allegheny County beginning at noon Friday, May 3, 2024 in the South Fayette Township Municipal Building, 100 Township Drive, Bridgeville, to provide in-person assistance for those who want to apply. Visiting the DLOC is not required to obtain assistance.
